This study aimed to compare the effects of finasteride (Femara) and clomiphene citrate (Clomid) on the growth and proliferation of human adipose tissue samples. We evaluated the effects of finasteride, clomiphene citrate, and finasteride plus clomiphene on the growth and proliferation of human adipose tissue samples. In addition, we evaluated the antiandrogen effects of finasteride, clomiphene citrate, and finasteride plus clomiphene citrate on the proliferation of human adipose tissue samples. A total of 24 adipose tissue samples from patients and healthy subjects were included in the study. Finasteride was the only drug that inhibited the growth of human adipose tissue in vitro, while clomiphene citrate was the only drug that had no effect on the proliferation of adipose tissue samples. In addition, the results of the two drugs were not different. In terms of the antiandrogen effects, finasteride (Femara) and clomiphene citrate (Clomid) had no effect on the proliferation of adipose tissue samples in vitro, while both drugs had an effect on the growth of adipose tissue samples. In terms of the antiandrogen effects, both finasteride (Femara) and clomiphene citrate (Clomid) had no effect on the proliferation of adipose tissue samples in vitro, while both drugs had an effect on the growth of adipose tissue samples in vitro. However, the data of the antiandrogen effects of both drugs were not different from that of the effect of finasteride. In conclusion, the results of the present study show that the combination of finasteride (Femara) and clomiphene citrate (Clomid) is able to inhibit the proliferation of human adipose tissue samples in vitro and increase the antiandrogen effects of both drugs, while both drugs have a different mechanism of action. However, the data of the antiandrogen effects of both drugs are different from that of finasteride. It can be concluded that the combination of finasteride (Femara) and clomiphene citrate is able to inhibit the proliferation of human adipose tissue samples in vitro and increase the antiandrogen effects of both drugs, while both drugs have different mechanisms of action.
